What is Sidena?

Sidena is a non-prescription medication intended for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in adult males. It addresses the challenges associated with attaining or sustaining an erection for sexual activity. Sidena serves as a generic alternative to Viagra, a widely-used medication utilised for the management of erectile dysfunction in adult males. It contains the same active ingredient, sildenafil, and works in the same way as Viagra. Sidena is conveniently obtainable in packs of four or eight tablets, with each tablet containing a 50mg dosage strength.

Is Sidena Available Over the Counter?

Sidena is an over-the-counter medication in Ireland, meaning you do not need a prescription to purchase it. However, a consultation with a pharmacist is required before supply.

PLEASE NOTE:

Both products Viagra and Sidena contain 50mg of sildenafil. 

Only one product to treat erectile dysfunction should be used at any time.

The maximum purchase allowed of any brand of sildenafil 50mg tablets is 16 tablets. If a quantity exceeding the maximum of 16 tablets of Sildenafil 50mg is ordered, the balance will be refunded.

The pharmacist will have to have a telephone consultation with you before supply of this medicine.

Directions for Use

Product Details:

  • Name: Sidena 50 mg Tablets
  • Form: Light blue, round, slightly dotted tablet
  • Markings: Cross breaking notch on one side and an imprint of “50” on the other side

Composition:

  • Active Ingredient: Sildenafil citrate equivalent to 50 mg of sildenafil per tablet.
  • Excipient with Known Effect: Contains less than 1 mmol sodium (23 mg) per tablet, essentially ‘sodium-free’.
  • Full Ingredients List: Please see section 6.1 in the enclosed leaflet for a complete list of ingredients.

Dosage & Administration:

  • Recommended Dosage: One tablet as needed, approximately one hour before sexual activity.
  • Maximum Frequency: Do not exceed one tablet in a 24-hour period.
  • Advice on Consumption: Can be taken with or without food. Avoid taking with grapefruit juice.

Safety Information:

  • Age Restriction: For adult men aged 18 and over.
  • Not Suitable For: Women, minors, individuals who do not have erectile dysfunction, and those with certain health conditions as listed in the contraindications.
  • Health Advice: Consultation with a healthcare professional is advisable before use, especially for men with underlying health conditions.

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50* 

(*Note - This excludes large furniture items such a beds and chairs that cannot be shipped via courier – if your order does not qualify for free shipping, or is not within the specified free delivery zones, any additional charges will be communicated to you before the order is confirmed

At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation

Shipping Schedule

We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Once your order has shipped, it will typically be delivered in 1-3 working days

Delivery Tracking

You can track your order online with https://tracking.dpd.ie/ by entering the tracking number you will have received in your shipping confirmation email.

If you have not received a tracking number or cannot locate it, please contact us and we will provide the tracking details for you.

Returns

Damaged Items

All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.

Returning Unwanted Items

If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.

Return Criteria

All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
