Delivery Information

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to orders under €50. We offer free delivery on orders over €50*

*Large and bulky mobility furniture will incur an additional fee – this will be communicated to you prior to order confirmation

We offer free shipping on all online orders made of over €50, excluding bulky mobility furniture items

At present, we deliver anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We do not ship internationally.

Delivery is via An Post / Fastway Couriers.

Packages must be signed for to ensure we deliver them to the correct person and therefore we ask you choose a delivery address where someone will be available to receive and sign for your items during business hours.

At checkout there is an option to specify a different delivery address, should you wish your package to go to your workplace or a neighbour. A valid phone number will also be needed,  in case of the courier or our customer services need to contact you regarding your delivery.

We respect your privacy and will never use or share your personal information except as necessary to fulfil your order.

We will ship goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. We do not dispatch orders on weekends or Bank Holidays. 

If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date.

Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us online.

Once your order has shipped, it will be delivered within 2-4 working days on average*

(*This is an estimate, based on our current observed delivery times. Deliveries may occasionally take longer during busy periods (Christmas, Bank Holidays) or due to external factors beyond our control)

If you do not receive your order within the expected delivery period, please contact us by email or by phone (021 431 0132) and we will ensure your package gets to you as soon as possible. 

Some items on our website may be made to order and therefore there will be more time required for delivery. You can find this information on the individual product pages or by contacting us.

You can track your order online with An Post Tracking / Fastway Couriers by entering the tracking number you will have received in your shipping confirmation email.

If you have not received a tracking number or cannot locate it, please contact us at customerservice@phelans.ie and we will locate your tracking details for you.

Returns Information

All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item is damaged on arrival, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no more than 24 hours after receiving your item, as items damaged in transit must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

If your purchase does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your online order within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchasewill be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.

Returns must meet our returns criteria in order to be eligible for a refund or credit note.

All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use outdoors, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, they cannot be refunded.

Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.

No exchanges/returns on bespoke or custom-made items to customer requirements as these are not regular store items and are not suitable for re-sale.

No exchanges/returns on medicinal products are permitted. As per the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland guidance, a pharmacy is not legally permitted to sell or supply a previously supplied medicinal product.

No exchanges/returns on intimate personal items for hygiene reasons. These include but are not limited to commodes, toilet seats and frames, toileting aids, bathing aids, underwear, incontinence wear, gloves and compression stockings.

Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.

Phelans.ie must be notified of your wish to return via email or the contact us page on our website.

A copy of the original order details must accompany the product to identify your order and allow us to process your return in a timely manner.

The cost of returning unwanted items is at your own expense. We recommend that you use a carrier who can offer you “Proof of Posting”. Until a parcel is received by us at the below address, it will remain your responsibility.

Alternatively, you can return your order to any Phelan's Pharmacy store, from where it can be transferred to our webstore. We cannot issue refunds until we have physically received and examined the returned product at our webstore location. Once we have confirmed the item meets our refund criteria, we can then process the requested refund.

All refunds will be made via the original payment method used to place the order. It can take 3-5 working days for payment providers to process refunds and money to return to your account.

Due to technical restrictions, you are not able to change or cancel your order prior to delivery once it has been confirmed. If you would like to purchase a different item, or no longer wish to receive your order, please return the item you don't want within 30 days of receipt ( see return policy) and place a new order if desired.
