The Rayovac Extra Hearing Aid Batteries take advantage of Rayovac’s new Active Core Plus now with Air Optimisation Technology; a breakthrough new cell design which maximises internal space to hold more active ingredients, ensuring that these batteries are the longest lasting on the market.

Wide tabs allow for easy removal and thick packs allow for improved handling. The new design delivers energy where it’s needed, prolonging the life of the battery and ensuring a consistent and precise listening experience. The tabs are ergonomically designed to make changing your hearing aid battery easier. Air Optimisation is the latest innovation that is improving the reliability and performance of the Active Core Plus technology that powers the Rayovac Extra Hearing Aid Batteries, ensuring that no other battery lasts longer that previous Rayovac designs.


The Rayovac Extra Hearing Aid Batteries are used to deliver energy where it’s needed. It prolongs the life of the battery and ensures a consistent and precise listening experience for hearing aids.

Pack Size: 6 Batteries.


Size 312 Rayovac Extra Hearing Aid Battery: brown in colour, 1.4 voltage and 7.9mm in diameter.

Size 13 Rayovac Extra Hearing Aid Battery: orange in colour, 1.4 voltage and 7.9mm in diameter.


  • Remove the drained battery from your device
  • Spin the lock dial on the back of the package to securely position a battery with the forward facing door
  • Open the door and remove the Rayovac Hearing Aid Battery from the package
  • Re-close the door to ensure batteries stay clean, secured and protected
  • Remove the tab and let sit for one minute to allow air to activate the battery
  • Then insert the battery into your device with the flat side facing up and close the door
  • Your hearing aid should now be powering up and is ready for use

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to orders under €50. We offer free delivery on orders over €50*(*Large and bulky mobility items may incur an additional fee – this will be communicated to you prior to order confirmation)

Delivery Range

At present, we deliver to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We do not ship internationally.

Delivery Schedule

We will ship goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. We deliver in partnership with An Post and Fastway Couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us online.

Once your order has shipped, it will usually be delivered within 3-5 working days (*This is an estimate, based on our current observed delivery times. Deliveries may take longer during busy periods or due to external factors beyond our control)

Delivery Tracking

You can track your order online with An Post Tracking / Fastway Couriers by entering the tracking number you will have received in your shipping confirmation email.

If you have not received a tracking number or cannot locate it, please contact us and we will provide the tracking details for you.


Damaged Items

All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no more than 24 hours after receiving your item, as items damaged in transit must be reported to the relevant carrier within 24 hours of delivery.

Returning Unwanted Items

If your online purchase does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.

Return Criteria

All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, they cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully disassembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
