Dentinox Cradle Cap Treatment Shampoo 125ml

Dentinox Cradle Cap Treatment Shampoo may be used to treat cradle cap. By topical application to the scalp. It can be used as a general shampoo once cradle cap has been treated, to maintain the cleanliness and health of your baby's scalp and hair. 

Directions for Use:

  • Wet the baby's head with warm water
  • Squeeze a little Dentinox Cradle Cap Treatment Shampoo, about 2-3ml onto your palm, and massage gently but firmly over the entire scalp
  • Do not be afraid of touching the soft area of the scalp (fontanelle)
  • Avoid excess massaging or hot water
  • Rinse off and repeat application
  • Rinse well and gently dry

Repeat at each bath-time until baby's scalp is clear. Then use regularly to keep the baby's scalp and hair clean and healthy. If condition persists, or any unwanted effects occur, consult your doctor. 

Too much Dentinox Cradle Cap Treatment Shampoo on the skin will not be a problem. The shampoo is not poisonous if it is accidentally swallowed. If the product gets into the eyes The product, or lather, may cause irritation if it gets into the eyes. If this happens, rinse with plenty of clean water. If rinsing one eye, take care to avoid washing product into the other eye. If irritation persists, contact a doctor or pharmacist. 


You should not use Dentinox Cradle Cap Treatment Shampoo:

• If your baby is allergic (hypersensitive) to sodium lauryl ether sulpho-succinate, sodium lauryl ether sulphate, or any other ingredients of Dentinox Cradle Cap Treatment Shampoo (see list of ingredients below).

• If the skin on the scalp is broken.

• If there are signs of scalp infection (redness, blistering, oozing, warmth) 

Take special care with Dentinox Cradle Cap Treatment Shampoo:

• Avoid contact with the eyes.

• Do not use if your baby has any signs of eczema on the scalp such as redness, swelling, blistering, dryness or cracking of the skin.

• Test on a small area of the infant’s skin the day before you intend to use the shampoo. Do not use if any signs of redness or skin irritation occur within 24 hours of the test.

• Do not use other shampoos at the same time as this can make the skin very dry.

• If condition persists consult your doctor. 


Active ingredients: Sodium lauryl ether sulpho-succinate 6% w/w sodium lauryl ether sulphate 2% w/w. Also contains: Sodium salt of coconut imidazoline, polyoxyethelene rapeseedamide, sodium chloride, dilute hydrochloric acid, rose perfume and water.

Avoid contact with eyes.

A delivery charge of €6.50 is applied to orders under €50. We offer free delivery on orders over €50* (*Large and bulky mobility items may incur an additional fee – this will be communicated to you prior to order confirmation)

Delivery Range

At present, we deliver to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We do not ship internationally.

Delivery Schedule

We will ship goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. We deliver in partnership with An Post and Fastway Couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us online.

Once your order has shipped, it will usually be delivered within 3-5 working days (*This is an estimate, based on our current observed delivery times. Deliveries may take longer during busy periods or due to external factors beyond our control)

Delivery Tracking

You can track your order online with An Post Tracking / Fastway Couriers by entering the tracking number you will have received in your shipping confirmation email.

If you have not received a tracking number or cannot locate it, please contact us and we will provide the tracking details for you.


Damaged Items

All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify no more than 24 hours after receiving your item, as items damaged in transit must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Returning Unwanted Items

If your purchase does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.

Return Criteria

All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, they cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
