BV Maternity Pads are designed for use in the days following the birth of a baby. These absorbent, thick maternity pads offer maximum comfort and are specially designed to be slim. They also have a very soft and non-adherent white contact layer.
With a double hydrophobic layer covering all the back and lateral sides that hold in an average of 80ml without leaking, these Maternity Pads have a very high retention capacity. They are composed of 4 layers, and are non-sterile.
There are 10 Maternity Pads per packet, and each measures 30cm x 10cm.
Uses
BV Maternity Pads are designed for post-partum patients or following gynaecological operations. They have an excellent absorbent capacity for maximum confidence, and the soft cover is used for optimum comfort.
Also ideal for use after a home birth.
Application
- Wash your hands both before and after changing the BV Maternity Pads.
- To apply, simply attach the pad to the inside of the underwear when needed.
- For use immediately after birth, it is recommended to change the maternity pad ever 1 to 2 hours, to stay fresh and to ward off infection. This will then reduce to every 3 to 4 hours over the next 2 to 3 days.

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*

Shipping Locations
At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation
Shipping Schedule
We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns
Damaged Items
All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.
Returning Unwanted Items
If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.
Return Criteria
All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
