Hylo Night Ointment 5G
The Hylo Night Ointment is a preservative free and well tolerated solution to night-time dry eye. It relieves symptoms of burning, itching, dry eyes by forming a comfortable long-lasting protective film on the eyes. It is a soft and consistent ointment containing Vitamin A as the inactive ingredient to help improve the tear film and protects the surface of the eye.
HYLO NIGHT® is a sterile eye ointment for ocular use at night.
When should HYLO NIGHT® be used?
The symptoms of burning, itching, dry eyes or foreign-body sensation are often experienced due to air-conditioned environments, e.g. in cars or airplanes, wind, cold, strong solar irradiation, bad air or cigarette smoke.
Concentrated vision, e.g. prolonged periods working with visual display units or driving at night can also be the cause of these symptoms. Wearing contact lenses increases the risk for these symptoms as well.
HYLO NIGHT® relieves these symptoms and forms a comfortable long-lasting protective film on the eyes. The fatty consistency of the eye ointment causes a slight impairment
of vision. Therefore, HYLO NIGHT® is recommended to beapplied before going to bed. HYLO NIGHT® lubricates torelieve sore eyes in the morning.
Directions for use:
HYLO NIGHT® should be dosed individually according to your symptoms and the recommendation of your ophthalmologist/pharmacist. With a strong feeling of dryness of the eyes, the ointment is usually applied 3 times a day. HYLO NIGHT® can be used in addition to moisturising eye drops by placing a small drop of ointment in the conjunctival sac once a day before bedtime. To make sure that everything goes smoothly, follow these step-by-step instructions:
Step 1: Remove the protective cap before use.
Step 2: Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull the lower eyelid away from your eye with your finger.
Step 3: With the other hand hold the tube in an upright position above the eye. Instill one strip of eye ointment into the conjunctival sac by gently squeezing the tube
Step 4: Slowly close your eyelids and then blink normally.
Step 5: Close the tube again carefully after use.
HYLO NIGHT® must not be used while wearing contact lenses.
Warnings:
HYLO NIGHT® should not be used when a hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients is known. HYLO NIGHT® should not be applied while contact lenses are worn.
HYLO NIGHT® should not be used directly after ophthalmic surgery or in acute injuries of the eye as no clinical studies exist for this purpose.

1 g HYLO NIGHT® contains 250 I.U. retinol palmitate
(vitamin A), liquid paraffin, light liquid paraffin, wool fat
and white soft vaseline.

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*

Shipping Schedule
We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns
Damaged Items
All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.
Returning Unwanted Items
If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.
Return Criteria
All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
