What is IBS?

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a common condition that affects the digestive system. It is often a condition that people experience their whole life. Unfortunately there is no cure but certain medicines and diet changes can help relieve unwanted symptoms.

There is no cure for IBS but lets look at some tips that may help ease the symptoms;

  • Regular exercise

  • Don't skip meals

  • Eat slowly and mindfully

  • Stress relieving activities such as meditation, breathwork and yoga

  • High-fibre foods such as fruit, vegetables, oats and wholemeal rice

  • Increase water intake
