Virasoothe Chickenpox Relief Cooling Gel is a revolutionary new product, specifically formulated to relieve the irritating symptoms of chickenpox. The cooling gel helps to break the itch, scratch, infection cycle, and soothes and calms the itch, helping you to help your child and avoid long-term scarring.

What is Virasoothe? Virasoothe is an odourless, easy to applyclear gel that can be applied all over the body and face (avoid contact with the eyes). It is suitable for children over the age of 6 months, is non-messy and is rapidly absorbed into the skin.

Directions for use:

Children over 6 months:

To apply it, hands should first be washed and dried. A small amount of gel should be squeezed out of the tube and then rubbed into the affected areas of skin sparingly with a light massaging action. After applying, hands should then be washed again. It should be applied two or three times a day or whenever relief is needed.

Warnings:

  • Avoid contact with the eyes.
  • For external use only.
  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if: you are sensitive to any of the ingredients in Care Virasoothe

Contains:

Glycerin, PEG-8, caprylyl glycol, sodium polyacrylate, carbomer, sodium hydroxide and purified water.

Does not contain any preservatives.

Shipping Cost

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*

(*Note - This excludes large furniture items such a beds and chairs that cannot be shipped via courier – if your order does not qualify for free shipping, or is not within the specified free delivery zones, any additional charges will be communicated to you before your order is processed)

Shipping Locations

At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this may incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation

Shipping Schedule

We aim to ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually dispatched in 1-2 working days. 

We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Delivery Tracking

You can track your order online with https://tracking.dpd.ie/ by entering the tracking number you will have received in your shipping confirmation email.

If you have not received a tracking number or cannot locate it, please contact us and we will provide the tracking details for you.

Returns

Damaged Items

All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.

Returning Unwanted Items

If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Exchanges can made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase for the value of the returned product, if proof of purchase is provided and goods are as-new. 

Return Criteria

No returns of medicine products can be accepted, whether they have been opened or not, once they have left the pharmacy.

All eligible items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollators are suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
