Sudafed Decongestant Syrup 100ml
Sudafed Decongestant Liquid is a medicine which is used to provide relief from the symptoms of blocked nose or sinuses and catarrh associated with colds. The syrup contains pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, which is a decongestant that relieves nasal and sinus congestion.
Directions for use:
Adults and children aged 12 years and over:
Two 5ml spoonfuls. Take every 4 - 6 hours. Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
Children 6 - 12 years:
One 5ml spoonful. Do not give to a child under 12 years old for more than 5 days without advice from a doctor.
Warnings:
Do not use this medicine:
- If you have ever had a bad reaction to any of the ingredients of this medicine (listed below).
- If you have high blood pressure or heart disease.
- If you have diabetes.
- If you have a phaeochromocytoma (rare tumour that affects your heart rate and blood pressure).
- If you have an overactive thyroid gland.
- If you have glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye).
- If you have severe kidney or liver problems.
- If you are taking beta blockers (used to treat high blood pressure).
- If you are taking, or have taken in the last two weeks, drugs for depression known as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) or Reversible Inhibitors of Monoamine Oxidase (RIMAs).
- If you are taking stimulants or appetite suppressants or drugs used to treat congestion and asthma (Sympathomimetic drugs).
- If you are taking any other cough and cold medicine.
- For children under 6 years old
Contains:
Active ingredients: Each 5ml of liquid contains Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30mg
Other ingredients: Citric acid monohydrate, Sucrose, Glycerol, Methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), Sodium benzoate (E211), ponceau 4R (E124), raspberry falvour and water.

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*

Shipping Schedule
We aim to ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually dispatched in 1-2 working days.
We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns
Damaged Items
All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.
Returning Unwanted Items
If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Exchanges can made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase for the value of the returned product, if proof of purchase is provided and goods are as-new.
Return Criteria
No returns of medicine products can be accepted, whether they have been opened or not, once they have left the pharmacy.
All eligible items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollators are suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
