Benylin Phlegm Cough plus Decongestant 100ml

BENYLIN^® Phlegm Cough plus Decongestant Syrup not only thins and loosens chest phlegm so you can cough it away more easily, it also helps relieve nasal congestion.

How it works

Guaifenesin thins and loosens phlegm, making it easier for you to cough up and lighten the weighty feeling on your chest.

Pseudoephedrine causes the blood vessels in the nasal and sinus passages to contract and narrow, which reduces congestion and the production of excess phlegm.

What is a phlegm cough?

When phlegm builds up in the chest, it can be hard to get rid of by coughing, so it’s helpful to have something to take to loosen the phlegm and relieve the feeling of heaviness.

Directions for use:

For oral use only

Do not use more than the stated dose shown.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• Take two 5 ml spoonfuls, four times a day

• Not suitable for children under 12 years

• Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours. If symptoms persist, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Warnings:

As with all medicines, if you are pregnant or currently taking any other medicine especially heart medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
Do not take with any other cough and cold medicine

Contains:

• Guaifenesin 100mg, Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg.
• Other ingredients include: Sucrose, methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl hydroxybenzoate (E216), sunset yellow (E110), Ponceau 4R (E124).
• This product contains 5 vol % ethanol.
