A message from our founder, Denise Phelan
Over 35 years ago, my husband Conor and I opened our first pharmacy in Carrigaline, Cork. The idea for Lifelong Mobility came from a very personal place.
When my father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, we saw firsthand how the right products could have made life easier for him and for my mother, who cared for him every day. Finding quality mobility aids at the time was difficult and stressful, and that experience never left me.
It showed me the real need for accessible, reliable products and trusted advice. So, we built Lifelong Mobility, a service that helps families like ours by offering expertly chosen equipment, backed by professional guidance from our trained healthcare team in-store.
To deepen my understanding, I returned to college to study occupational therapy, shaping not just what we offer but how we offer it, with empathy, care, and genuine understanding.
Today, this mission remains personal. Lifelong Mobility in Phelans Pharmacies is here to provide comfort, dignity, and independence for those facing mobility challenges. Together with Phelans Pharmacy, we continue to be your one-stop healthcare destination, offering Ireland’s leading range of medicines, mobility aids, and independent living essentials.
