This bed and chair exit system is ideal for caring for the elderly and/or those with dementia or Alzheimer's. It monitors both the wireless, cordfree bed pad and cordfree chair pad. The alarm is not in the room where the patient is located so they will not become upset or confused by the alert noise. The carer on the other hand will hear the alert immediately.
Place the bed pad under the bottom sheet in the bed, and place the chair pad in the seat of the chair. When the patient starts to remove their weight from the pad, it sends a wireless signal to the alarm monitor which the carer can keep with the up to 300' (90 meters) from the pads.
By placing the bed pad in the middle back area of the patient, you will receive the alert when they sit up, and before they start to put their legs over the side of the bed, when trying to stand. The alarm emits a repeated tone when the patient removed their weight from either of the pads. To silence the alarm, simply press reset on the front of the alarm.
