The Waxsol 0.5% w/v Ear Drops Solution 10ml are used to disperse ear wax, facilitating easy removal.
Directions for use:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Adults (including the elderly):
• Fill the dropper from the bottle.
• Tilt your head to one side.
• Gently drip WAXSOL into your blocked ear until it is full, e.g. usually 10 drops.
• Plug the ear using cotton wool, leaving in the ear overnight. The best time to do this is before you go to bed.
Children (6-12 years): As for the adult dose Only use the drops for 2 nights at a time. If you feel that the drops are not working after this time, or the problem continues to exist, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.
If you use more WAXSOL than you should, this may seep from the ear. It is unlikely that you will notice any problems but if you do have any (such as skin irritation) you should tell your doctor. If you have any further questions on the use of the product, ask your doctor or pharmacist
Do not use WAXSOL:
• If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to docusate sodium or any of the other ingredients of WAXSOL (listed below).
• if you have a perforated (burst) ear drum
• if your ear is sore inside
Warnings:
If you have pain or inflammation while using WAXSOL, treatment should be stopped. Other medicines and WAXSOL Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. Pregnancy and breast-feeding Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine
• WAXSOL can be used if you are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant
• WAXSOL can be used if you are breastfeeding
Driving and using Machines WAXSOL should not affect your ability to drive or use machines. However, if you have dizziness, do not drive or operate machines.

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*

Shipping Schedule
We aim to ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually dispatched in 1-2 working days.
We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns
Damaged Items
All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.
Returning Unwanted Items
If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Exchanges can made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase for the value of the returned product, if proof of purchase is provided and goods are as-new.
Return Criteria
No returns of medicine products can be accepted, whether they have been opened or not, once they have left the pharmacy.
All eligible items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollators are suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
