Strepsils Plus Anaesthetic Throat Spray 20ml
Strepsils Plus Anaesthetic Throat Spray contains Lidocaine, a powerful local anaesthetic which rapidly numbs the pain and a combination of 2 antiseptics (Amylmetacresol 0.29mg/spray 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol 0.58mg/spray) to help kill the bacteria which can cause sore throats infections.
Plus Anaesthetic Throat Spray can be used to relieve severe sore throats in adults over the age of 18 years.
Directions for use:
For Oromucosal use. For optimum use rotate the nozzle 90°.
Adults (over 18 years):
Spray the affected area 2 times and swallow gently. Repeat every 2 hours as required, up to a maximum of 8 times (16 sprays) in 24 hours.
Warnings:
Do not use this product:
- If you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed below
- If you have a history of allergy to local anaesthetics
- if you are under 18 years of age
- If pregnant or breastfeeding,
- If you
- suffer from a blood disorder called methemoglobinemia (abnormal amounts of haemoglobin in the blood)
Take special care:
- If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this product
- If you suffer from asthma
- If symptoms persist, or anything unusual happens

This Oromucosal Spray contains the active ingredients (per spray): Amylmetacresol 0.29mg, 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol 0.58 and Lidocaine 0.78mg
Also contains: Glycerol (E422), Ethanol (Alcohol), Sorbitol Solution (E420), Saccharin and Carmosine (E122)

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*

At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this may incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation
Shipping Schedule
We aim to ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually dispatched in 1-2 working days.
We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns
Damaged Items
All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.
Returning Unwanted Items
If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Exchanges can made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase for the value of the returned product, if proof of purchase is provided and goods are as-new.
Return Criteria
No returns of medicine products can be accepted, whether they have been opened or not, once they have left the pharmacy.
All eligible items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollators are suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
