Pharmacare Skin Closure Strips
The PharmaCare Skin Closure Strips are a simple and effective way to seal and protect an open wound. Their use will make the patient feel comfortable in the knowledge that you are helping to prevent infection, while also keeping the wound comfortable. If you need something to keep the wound safe and secure until you get medical advice, these skin closure strips are the ideal product. Best to store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
There are 10 skin closure strips per pack.
Uses;
The PharmaCare Skin Closure Strips are used to allow wounds to heal without additional trauma to the surrounding skin. They are used as an option for topical skin closure.
- Carefully line up the edges of the wound
- When the skin is in its natural position, place one half of the skin closure on one side of the wound
- Gently bring the other side of the wound towards it
- Pass the other half of the skin closure over the wound to complete the closure
- It is advisable to cover the wound with a sterile wound dressing for 24 – 48 hours

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*
(*Note - This excludes large furniture items such a beds and chairs that cannot be shipped via courier – if your order does not qualify for free shipping, or is not within the specified free delivery zones, any additional charges will be communicated to you before the order is confirmed
Shipping Locations
At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation
Shipping Schedule
We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns
Damaged Items
All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.
Returning Unwanted Items
If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.
Return Criteria
All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
