Product Description

Lorat tablets are used to treat the allergic symptoms of hayfever and other allergies such as dust mites. Lorat can help relieve the symptoms of these allergies including sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy palate and itchy, red or tearing eyes.

Lorat is also used to relieve symptoms such as itching and hives (associated with chronic urticaria of unknown cause).

Lorat is suitable for adults and children over the age of 2 years.

Dosage

Adults and children over 12 years of age and weighing more than 30 kg:

take 1 tablet once a day.

Children 2-12 years and weighing more than 30 kg:

take one tablet once a day.

Children under 2 years of age or weighing less than 30kg:

take half a tablet once a day.

Never exceed the stated dose

Warnings:

Do not take Lorat:

  • if you are allergic to loratadine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6) Warnings and precautions

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Lorat:

  • if you have a severe liver disease
  • if you have to undergo any skin tests, tell your doctor that you are taking Lorat as it may be necessary to stop taking this medicine at least 2 days (48 hours) before the test to make sure the result of the test is correct. You can carry on as usual after the test.

Contains:

The active substance is loratadine. Each tablet contains 10mg loratadine. 

The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, maize starch and colloidal anhydrous silica.

Shipping Cost

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50* 

(*Note - This excludes large furniture items such a beds and chairs that cannot be shipped via courier – if your order does not qualify for free shipping, or is not within the specified free delivery zones, any additional charges will be communicated to you before the order is confirmed

Shipping Locations

At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation

Shipping Schedule

We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Once your order has shipped, it will typically be delivered in 1-3 working days

Delivery Tracking

You can track your order online with https://tracking.dpd.ie/ by entering the tracking number you will have received in your shipping confirmation email.

If you have not received a tracking number or cannot locate it, please contact us and we will provide the tracking details for you.

Returns

Damaged Items

All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.

Returning Unwanted Items

If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.

Return Criteria

All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
