Hylo-Care Eye Drops 7.5ml
Restoring and maintaining the health of the eyes also involves constant moisturisation of the external tissues, conjunctiva and cornea. This function is best fulfilled by our tears. However, it can happen that the natural tears are not sufficient or their composition is impaired. The eye then reacts with redness, itching, a foreign-body sensation, a burning sensation or rapid fatigue. In these cases, it is advisable to apply intensive lubrication to the eye by using HYLO CARE® and thus restore the natural moisture balance.
HYLO CARE® is a sterile, phosphate- and preservative-free solution
for ocular use
The Hylo-Care Eye Drops are recommended for patients with severe dry eye or where there is an injury to the outside layer of the cornea.

Directions for use:
HYLO CARE® should be dosed individually according to your condition and the recommendation of your ophthalmologist/pharmacist. Generally, you instil one drop into each eye, 3 times a day. The drops are filled in our practical COMOD® system. To make sure that everything goes smoothly, follow these step-by-step instructions:
Step 1: Remove the cap before use.
Step 2: Hold the bottle upside down with your thumb on the shoulder of the bottle and the other fingers on the bottom of the bottle.
Step 3: Support the hand holding the bottle with your free hand.
Step 4: Tilt your head back, gently pull the lower lid away from the eye with your free hand and trigger the drip mechanism with quick and strong pressure. Repeat the procedure for the other eye.
Step 5: After use, close the dropper tip again by replacing the cap.
Generally, you instil one drop of HYLO CARE® three times a day into each
eye. If you use HYLO CARE® more frequently or when your complaints
persist for more than one week please consult your eye doctor or pharmacist
HYLO CARE® can be used while wearing contact lenses. We recommend waiting about 30 minutes after inserting contact lenses before using the eye drops to avoid possible incompatibility reactions due to interactions between contact lens solutions and HYLO CARE®.
If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after several days of use talk
to your doctor or pharmacist.
If you use any other eye drops there should be at least 30 minutes
between the applications and HYLO CARE® should always be used last.
Eye ointments should, however, always be administered after using
HYLO CARE®.
Because it is preservative-free, HYLO CARE® is well tolerated even when
used over a longer period of time. In very rare cases adverse reactions
like hypersensitivity, burning or excessive tearing, pain, foreign body
sensation or other temporary local irritations have been reported which
stopped when the use of HYLO CARE® was discontinued.
Please note that temporary blurred vision is possible after application of
HYLO CARE® due to the viscosity of the eye drops solution. In very rare
cases this may cause temporary headache in sensitive patients.

1 ml HYLO CARE® contains 1 mg sodium hyaluronate, dexpanthenol,
citric acid anhydrous, sodium citrate and water for injections.

Shipping Schedule
We aim to ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually dispatched in 1-2 working days.
We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns
Damaged Items
All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.
Returning Unwanted Items
If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Exchanges can made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase for the value of the returned product, if proof of purchase is provided and goods are as-new.
Return Criteria
No returns of medicine products can be accepted, whether they have been opened or not, once they have left the pharmacy.
All eligible items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollators are suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
