Product Description

BSN Easifix Cohesive Self Adhesive Bandage is a latex-coated elastic cohesive retention bandage made from viscose and polyester, that sticks securely to itself. It is used for the secure fixation of wound dressings and plaster splints, as well as light support. It is a non sterile dressing, and only a 30% overlap is required when using the dressing.

BSN Easifix Cohesive Self Adhesive Bandage is lightweight and is highly conformable, which makes it ideal for dressing bony prominences without impairing movement. It is has both elastic and cohesive properties, and its unique construction makes it ideal for patients with allergies to adhesives, as the latex coating ensures that the bandage sticks only to itself, and not to the patient’s skin.

BSN Easifix Cohesive Self Adhesive Bandage also offers excellent moisture vapour permeability, and can be cut as required from the roll, making it an extremely cost-effective dressing option.

Uses:

The BSN Easifix Cohesive Self Adhesive Bandage is ideal for dressing bony prominences without impairing movement.

With both elastic and cohesive properties, and that makes the BSN Easifix Cohesive Self Adhesive Bandage ideal for patients with allergies to adhesives, as the latex coating ensures that the bandage sticks only to itself and not to the patient’s skin.

The fabric is highly stretchable with limited regain, avoiding the risk of limb constriction.

Application:

Remove the BSN Easifix Cohesive Self Adhesive Bandage from the packaging.

The bandage should be held with the bulk roll facing upwards.

Wrap around the affected area, partially overlapping the previous layer by about 30%.

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*

Shipping Locations

At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this may incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation

Shipping Schedule

We aim to ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually dispatched in 1-2 working days. 

We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns

Damaged Items

All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.

Returning Unwanted Items

If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Exchanges can made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase for the value of the returned product, if proof of purchase is provided and goods are as-new. 

Return Criteria

No returns of medicine products can be accepted, whether they have been opened or not, once they have left the pharmacy.

All eligible items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollators are suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
