Product Description

Dulcolax 5mg Tablets offer reliable, overnight relief from occasional constipation. Each tablet contains bisacodyl, a stimulant laxative that works directly in the large intestine to gently restore your body's natural rhythm, with results usually expected in 6-12 hours.

How It Works

The tablets are coated with a special gastro-resistant layer, which means the active ingredient is only released when it reaches the bowel. This targeted delivery helps avoid unnecessary irritation and ensures bisacodyl gets to work exactly where it is needed. Once active, it gently stimulates the natural muscle action of the large intestine, making it easier for the body to eliminate waste and relieving the discomfort of bloating and heaviness.

Key Benefits

  • Predictable overnight relief, with results expected the following morning
  • Gastro-resistant coating for targeted action in the bowel
  • Gentle stimulation that works with the body's natural muscle action
  • Suitable for adults and children over 10 years
  • Available in a range of pack sizes for occasional use or as directed by a healthcare professional

Dosage & How to Take

Adults and children over 10 should take one or two tablets (5mg or 10mg) before bedtime. If you are using Dulcolax for the first time, start with one tablet and increase to two only if needed. Swallow tablets whole with water. Do not crush or chew them.

Avoid taking milk, antacids, or proton pump inhibitors within one hour of taking Dulcolax, as these can affect the tablet's protective coating.
