Product Description

CURANAIL 5% Medicated Nail Lacquer 

CURANAIL is an effective and easy to use treatment for fungal nail conditions in adults. 

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: for each infected nail

  • File down the infected area of the nail
  • Clean the nail surface using one of the swabs
  • Apply the nail lacquer over the entire nail surface using the applicator. Allow to dry for approximately 3 minutes.
  • It is important to continue using the nail lacquer until the infection has cleared and healthy nails have grown back. This usually takes 6 months for finger nails and 9 months for toe nails.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase this product.

How to use

 

It can be used if:
- You have 1 or 2 nails infected. 

Treatment time: 
- 6 months for finger nails and 9-12 months for toe nails. 
- Use once a week until the infection has cleared and a healthy nail has grown back.

  1. File down the nail
  2. Cleanse your nail
  3. Apply the treatment
  4. Let it dry for 3 minutes
  5. After 10 minutes, a cosmetic Nail varnish may be applied on top, which can help to cover up discoloured nails. 
  6. Always use this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet provided

Hazards and Cautions

Do not use curanail and speak to your doctor or pharmacist if:

  • you are allergic to amorolfine or any of the other ingredients in this medicine (see the Package Leaflet)
  • your nail is moderately or severely damaged or infected
  • you are pregnant, might become pregnant or are breast-feeding
  • you have poor blood circulation in your hands or feet
  • you have pain or swelling around the nail
  • you have more than 2 infected nails
  • you have a weak immune system
  • you are under the age of 18
  • you have diabetes

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:

Do not apply amorolfine 5% nail lacquer to the skin around the nail. Avoid all contact with your eyes, ears or mucous membranes. Children should not be treated with CURANAIL.

 

What CURANAIL contains:

The active substance is: Curanail medicated nail lacquer contains 50mg/ml (5% w/v) of the active substance amorolfine (as amorolfine hydrochloride)

The other ingredients are: methacrylic acid copolymer (EUDRAGIT RL100), triacetin, butyl acetate, ethyl acetate and ethanol anhydrous.

    A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*

    Shipping Locations

    At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this may incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation

    Shipping Schedule

    We aim to ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually dispatched in 1-2 working days. 

    We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

    Delivery Tracking

    You can track your order online with https://tracking.dpd.ie/ by entering the tracking number you will have received in your shipping confirmation email.

    If you have not received a tracking number or cannot locate it, please contact us and we will provide the tracking details for you.

    Returns

    Damaged Items

    All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.

    Returning Unwanted Items

    If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Exchanges can made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase for the value of the returned product, if proof of purchase is provided and goods are as-new. 

    Return Criteria

    No returns of medicine products can be accepted, whether they have been opened or not, once they have left the pharmacy.

    All eligible items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollators are suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
