Product Description

CALPOL ® Infant Suspension provides soothing relief from pain and fever for your children, when they need it most. It starts to work on fever in just 15 minutes but is still gentle on delicate tummies. Trusted by parents for over 50 years, CALPOL ® Infant Suspension is gentle enough to use from 2 months. Each pack comes with an easy dose syringe and now we have introduced a new format: CALPOL ® Infant Suspension sachets, easy to carry whilst on-the-go.

Gets to work on fever in just 15 minutes.
Contains paracetamol.

For babies and children aged from 2 months to 6 years weighing more than 4kg and not premature.


Directions for use:

Babies under 2 months:

Do not give to babies under 2 months old. Consult your doctor.

For use after Men B vaccinations (at 2 and 4 months):

 Age of child

 Up to 6 months (usually at 2 and 4 months)

 Dose 1

 One 2.5ml dose as soon as possible after  vaccination

 Dose 2

 One 2.5ml dose 4-6 hours after first dose

 Dose 3

 One 2.5ml dose 4-6 hours after the second dose


 

For pain & other causes of fever:

 Age of child

 2-3 months

 2.5ml (if necessary, after 4-6  hours, give a second  2.5ml  dose)

  • Only give if your baby weighs over 4kg and was born after 37 weeks

  • Leave at least 4 hours between doses

  • Do not give more than two doses. This is to ensure that fever that may be due to a serious infection is quickly diagnosed. If your child is still feverish after two doses, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

  • Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period

  • Leave at least 4 hours between doses

  • Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist

 

*Remember that dosing instructions for ibuprofen are different, always read the Patient Information Leaflet

Warnings:

  • For oral use only.
  • Do not give more medicine than the label tells you to.
  • If your child does not get better, talk to your doctor.
  • CONTAINS PARACETOMOL - Do not give with any other paracetamol-containing products. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if the child seems well.
  • As with all medicines, if your child is currently taking any other medicine consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
  • Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.
  • Seek advice before using if you are breast feeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from allergies

Contains:

Active ingredients: Each 5 ml contains 120 mg of paracetamol.
Also contains: Sucrose, E420, E214, E216, E218 and E122.

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*

Shipping Locations

At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation

Shipping Schedule

We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Once your order has shipped, it will typically be delivered in 1-3 working days

Delivery Tracking

You can track your order online with https://tracking.dpd.ie/ by entering the tracking number you will have received in your shipping confirmation email.

If you have not received a tracking number or cannot locate it, please contact us and we will provide the tracking details for you.

Returns

Damaged Items

All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.

Returning Unwanted Items

If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.

Return Criteria

All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
