Caldesene Adult Powder protects skin against irritation and body odour caused by common bacteria and fungi especially in delicate skin folds. Caldesene is a medicated powder that can be used for the prevention and treatment of prickly heat and chafing.
Prickly Heat/Heat Rash
- Prickly heat is a heat rash that can develop when sweat gets trapped in the skin
- This trapping of sweat can cause inflammation and itching
- A dusting of Caldesene® Protecting Powder can absorb sweat and help the rash heal faster
Chafing
Chafing
- Chafing can occur as a result of sweat plus friction from clothing or body parts rubbing together
- Chafing is common in areas such as the inner thigh, groin area or armpits
- By using Caldesene® Protecting Powder, you can help keep these areas dry and protect against chafing
Dryness

- Caldesene® can be used to help relieve dry, itchy skin
- The zinc oxide in Caldesene® serves as a barrier between skin and surrounding air or clothing, helping to soothe skin and prevent further irritation
Cuts and Scrapes
- Caldesene® Protecting Powder can also be used to treat minor cuts and scrapes
- The zinc oxide in Caldesene® protects minor scrape and cut wounds from infection and helps them heal faster
Sand Removal
- After a day at the beach, rub Caldesene® Protecting Powder onto skin and hair
- Caldesene® will quickly absorb the moisture on your skin and the sand will fall away
- Caldesene® can also be sprinkled on beach towels and clothing for easy sand removal
Adult Diapers
- Just as Caldesene® treats and prevents diaper rash in infants and children, it can also be used to protect adult skin
- The ingredients in Caldesene® repel moisture and help keep skin dry and protected
- Use Caldesene® as often as necessary, with every diaper change
Directions for use:
- Smooth a small dab on the irritated skin area
- Repeat as needed.
- To avoid future chafing, use prior to activity
Warnings:
This medicine contains fragrance with: benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, eugenol , isoeugenol, linalool, cinnamyl alcohol and coumarin. which may cause allergic reactions. Benzyl alcohol may cause mild local irritation.

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*
(*Note - This excludes large furniture items such a beds and chairs that cannot be shipped via courier – if your order does not qualify for free shipping, or is not within the specified free delivery zones, any additional charges will be communicated to you before the order is confirmed
Shipping Locations
At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation
Shipping Schedule
We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns
Damaged Items
All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.
Returning Unwanted Items
If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.
Return Criteria
All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
