Aptamil Pepti 2 400g From 6 Months

Aptamil Pepti 2 is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Aptamil Pepti 2 is a whey-based hypoallergenic extensively hydrolysed formula with galacto- and fructo oligosaccharides (GOS/FOS) for the dietary management of cow’s milk allergy. Aptamil Pepti 2 is suitable from 6 months to complement a cow’s milk free weaning diet.

Precautions:

Must be used under medical supervision, after full consideration of all feeding options, including breastfeeding. It is only suitable for babies from 6 months as part of a mixed diet. Due to the special formulation of the feed, there may be some separation of prepared feeds on standing. Shake well before use.

 

Preparation and directions for use:

Important: Powdered infant formula is not sterile. Formula should be prepared immediately prior to feeding. Do not boil formula and do not use a microwave to prepare or warm formula. Preparation: All Aptamil products carry preparation instructions. Please see packaging for further information. Tins should be stored in a cool, dry place; do not refrigerate, and use contents within four weeks of opening.

  1. Wash hands and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Boil 1 litre of fresh water. Leave kettle to cool for 30 minutes and no longer. Measure the required amount of water (refer to feeding guide) into a sterilised bottle. Be careful of scalding. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
  3. Using the scoop provided, level off the powder with the built-in leveller. Do not press/heap the powder.
  4. Add the correct measure of powder to the water. Place the sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake vertically and vigorously for 25 seconds to dissolve the powder.
  5. Cool under running tap. Check temperature of feed. Feed immediately. Recommended feed concentration: One level scoop (as provided in the tin) provides approximately 4.8g of powder. Add one level scoop of powder to every fluid ounce (30ml) of water to yield the recommended feed concentration.

Maltodextrin, Hydrolysed whey protein (from milk), Vegetable oils (Palm oil, Coconut oil, Rapeseed oil, High oleic sunflower oil, Sunflower oil), Galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) (from milk), Calcium phosphate, Emulsifiers (citric acid esters of mono- and di-glycerides of fatty acids), Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), Fish oil, Potassium chloride, Magnesium hydrogen phosphate, Oil from Mortierella alpina, Sodium chloride, Choline chloride, Vitamin C, L-Tyrosine, Inositol, Taurine, Ferrous sulphate, Zinc sulphate, L-Carnitine, Sodium citrate, Vitamin E, Uridine 5'-monophosphate sodium salt, Cytidine 5'-monophosphate, Pantothenic acid, Adenosine 5'-monophosphate, Inosine 5'-monophosphate sodium salt, Nicotinamide, Guanosine 5'- monophosphate sodium salt, Copper sulphate, Vitamin A, Riboflavin, Thiamin, Vitamin B6, Potassium iodide, Folic acid, Manganese sulphate, Sodium selenite, Vitamin K1, Biotin, Vitamin D3, Vitamin B12.

*This product is designed for the dietary management of cow's milk allergy, so the milk proteins present have been broken down (hydrolysed) to reduce the likelihood of them causing an allergic reaction.

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50* 

(*Note - This excludes large furniture items such a beds and chairs that cannot be shipped via courier – if your order does not qualify for free shipping, or is not within the specified free delivery zones, any additional charges will be communicated to you before the order is confirmed

Shipping Locations

At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation

Shipping Schedule

We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Once your order has shipped, it will typically be delivered in 1-3 working days

Delivery Tracking

You can track your order online with https://tracking.dpd.ie/ by entering the tracking number you will have received in your shipping confirmation email.

If you have not received a tracking number or cannot locate it, please contact us and we will provide the tracking details for you.

Returns

Damaged Items

All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.

Returning Unwanted Items

If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.

Return Criteria

All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
