This wireless motion sensor with pager allows a carer to receive the alert up to 300' (90 meters) from the motion sensor. It is ideal for caring for the elderly and/or those with dementia or Alzheimer's.
Regardless of where you are in the home or building, you will know that your patient is trying to get out of bed or moving about. This system does not require an internet or other wireless connection to work. It is an independent wireless system which is programmed to work one to one and requires no additional items.
When used to monitor a patient getting out of bed, the motion sensor is placed at floor level at the headboard end of the bed, facing down to the foot of the bed. When the patient puts their feet over the side of the bed and their feet are approximately12 inches (30cm) from the floor, the motion sensor picks up the movement, and sends a wireless signal to the pager which is kept with the carer.
When the pager receives the signal, you can hear a chime but the motion sensor that is in the room with the patient is silent so no one else in the house will get disturbed. The pager can be worn by the carer, placed on a counter or a bedside table.
It can also be used across a doorway to monitor if someone is leaving a room, the house or a building.
