Product Description

Difflam Spray 30ml is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with a sore throat. The active ingredient benzydamine is an anti-inflammatory and local analgesics which numbs the throat.

Dosage:

  • Adults and elderly: 4 to 8 puffs, every 1.5 - 3 hours.
  • Children: (6-12): Maximum of 4 puffs, every 1.5 - 3 hours.
  • Children under 6: One puff to be administered per 4 kg body weight, up to a maximum of 4 puffs every 1.5 - 3 hours.

Directions for Use

Directions for Use: 

Spray on to the sore area. You should not use Difflam spray for more than 7 days at a time unless your doctor tells you to. Follow instructions below.

  1. The spray bottle should be held in an upright position.
  2. Lift the nozzle through 90 degrees. Do not raise the nozzle more than shown.
  3. When using for the first time, press the green plunger down several times until a fine spray appears out of the end of the nozzle. It is now ready for use.
  4. Aim the nozzle at the affected area of the mouth and press down on the green plunger again. Each time you press down one puff is released.
  5. After applying the correct number of puffs wipe the end of the nozzle with a tissue.
  6. Push the nozzle down as shown. This prevents any more puffs being released.
  7. Do not attempt to insert anything into the end of the nozzle. If a blockage occurs please return the spray to your pharmacist.

Active Ingredients:

  • Benzydamine hydrochloride 0.15% w/v.
  • Each puff (175 microlitres) contains 262. 5 micrograms of benzydamine hydrochloride (0.15% w/v).
  • Excipients: Each puff contains 0.17mg of Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and 14mg of Ethanol.
  • Other Ingredients: Glycerol, Saccharin, Sodium hydrogen carbonate, Ethanol (96 per cent), Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Mouthwash flavour, Polysorbate 20 and Purified Water

At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation

Shipping Schedule

We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns

Damaged Items

All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.

Returning Unwanted Items

If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.

Return Criteria

All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
