Canespro Ointment softens the infected part of the nail, which can then gradually be removed with the plastic tool provided in the set. This gentle removal usually takes 2 to 3 weeks, and enables you to get to the main root of the infection – as in most cases fungal nail infections occur under the nail plate.

One set is sufficient for one big toenail or 2 small nails.

Directions for use:

Adults aged 18 years and over:

Canespro treatment involves applying 40% urea ointment topically to the infected nail, every day for 2-3 weeks. Patients are required to follow the below process until the treatment is complete. 7

1 - Soak infected nail in water for approximately 10 min and dry thoroughly

2 - Apply a thin layer of the urea ointment on the infected area

3 - Cover the affected nail with a plaster

4 - After 24 hours, soak the infected nail in water again for approximately 10 min and dry thoroughly

5 - With the use of the plastic tool included in the set, gently remove the softened part of the nail It is essential that patients repeat the above process every day, until the infected part of the nail is removed

Warnings:

  • Do not use if more than 2 nails are affected or if infection extends as far as the nail bed
  • Do not use if you have diabetes
  • Do not use with other topical products e.g. Nail Varnishes.
  • Do not use on children 
  • For external use only use on toenails and fingernails only.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes, mucous membranes, and skin.
  • Do not swallow or put in the mouth.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients

Contains:

  • 10g Tube Canespro 40% Urea Ointment.
  • 22 Single use waterproof plasters.
  • 1 plastic nail scraper

Shipping Cost

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50* 

(*Note - This excludes large furniture items such a beds and chairs that cannot be shipped via courier – if your order does not qualify for free shipping, or is not within the specified free delivery zones, any additional charges will be communicated to you before the order is confirmed

Shipping Locations

At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation

Shipping Schedule

We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Once your order has shipped, it will typically be delivered in 1-3 working days

Returns

Damaged Items

All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.

Returning Unwanted Items

If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.

Return Criteria

All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
