Product Description
The PharmaCare Forehead Thermometer is used for the measurement of human body temperatures and is designed to be used on people of all ages. In addition to forehead measurements, the device is also suitable for measuring object and liquid surface temperature, as well as room temperature.
Application
- Insert the batteries
- Always make sure the probe is clean and without damage
- Do not hold the thermometer for longer than necessary, because it can be sensitive to ambient temperatures
- After each measurement, clean the temperature probe with a soft cloth and put the thermometer in a dry and well-ventilated place
- You should wait at least 10 seconds between each measurement
- If your device shows any accuracy issues, please remove the battery and reset the thermometer
- To turn off the device, keep pressing the measure button for 6 seconds; The unit will shut down automatically after 10 seconds
How to measure forehead temperature:
- Make sure the thermometer is in “forehead” mode
- Press the measure button to turn on the thermometer
- Hold the thermometer within 0 – 3cm (0 – 1.2 inches) of the forehead, and aim it at the centre
- Start the measurement by pressing the measure button once
- The measurement is complete when you hear a beep sound
- Read the recorded temperature from the LCD display
- After each measurement, you can enter the recall mode to view earlier temperature readings

Shipping Cost
A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*
(*Note - This excludes large furniture items such a beds and chairs that cannot be shipped via courier – if your order does not qualify for free shipping, or is not within the specified free delivery zones, any additional charges will be communicated to you before the order is confirmed
Shipping Locations
At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation
Shipping Schedule
We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns
Damaged Items
All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.
Returning Unwanted Items
If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.
Return Criteria
All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
