The Panasonic CR2025 Battery is a coin-type battery that has a high voltage of 3V and an ultra-compact design. This battery is a powerful source of energy and has a very low self-discharge, meaning that it has a long shelf life of up to 10 years. These batteries are useful for memory back-up, digital watches, calculators, car keys, fitness appliances, laser pens and medical devices like a tensiometer and a clinical thermometer.

The Panasonic CR2025 Battery can be used in a wide range of temperatures (-30°C to +60°C) and is mercury free. These type of batteries are suitable for intermittent high load applications as they are chemically very stable, due to the combination of lithium and manganese dioxide. The battery is 20mm in diameter and 2.5mm in height and weighs approximately 2.6g.

Uses

For devices where traditional batteries cannot be used, the Panasonic CR2025 coin battery has a proven track record. Application

• Examine the battery compartment prior to inserting the batteries. You will see "+" or "-", meaning positive and negative respectively marked on the base or side of the battery compartment. If the marking is on the label, it often shows a diagram of the battery indicating which way around it needs to be inserted.
• Look at your battery; it has a flat side and a slightly rounded side. The flat side has a large "+" marked on the top. Insert the battery into the battery compartment ensuring the "+" side of the battery touches the "+" terminal.
• Close the battery cover by sliding it in place or pressing it so it clicks shut. If it is held in place using a small screw, insert the screw in the screw hole and tighten using a small screwdriver.
