Rennie Deflatine 18 Tablets

Virtually everyone suffers from trapped wind at some point in their lives but many people don’t want to admit it. The good news is that there is a discreet and effective treatment.

Rennie Deflatine works by gently dispersing the bubbles of gas that cause the embarrassing symptoms of trapped wind, such as bloating, gurgling and flatulence.

It has been formulated with simeticone, a highly effective ingredient in treating trapped wind which works gently on trapped air bubbles to lessen embarrassment.

This product also has Rennie’s antacid properties to neutralise the excess acid which causes symptoms of indigestion and heartburn.

Directions for use:

Adults aged 18 years and over:

1 or 2 tablets to be sucked or chewed as required, up to a maximum of 11 tablets a day.

Children and adolescents below age 18: Not recommended.

Doses of 8-11 tablets should not be continued for more than a few days. If symptoms persist after seven days further medical advice should be sought.

Warnings:

Do not take Rennie® Deflatine:

• If you have severe kidney disease or suffer from kidney stones.
• If you have high calcium levels in the blood, kidneys or urine. 
• If you have low phosphate levels in the blood. BCH19056 •
• If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients (listed below)

Take special care with Rennie® Deflatine: Consult your doctor before taking Rennie® Deflatine if:

• you have any kidney problems.
• Patients aged 55 years or older with unexplained and persistent heartburn should contact their doctor before taking Rennie® Deflatine.
• Pain/discomfort associated with cardiac conditions may on occasion mimic indigestion; such pain will not respond to Rennie®, therefore it is recommended that medical advice be sought if the pain does not go away.
• Rennie is suitable for use when suffering from heartburn during pregnancy or when breastfeeding if taken as instructed. However, if you are pregnant always talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.

Contains:

Each tablet contains the active ingredients: calcium carbonate 680mg, heavy magnesium carbonate 80mg and simeticone 25mg.

The other ingredients are sorbitol (E420), magnesium stearate, potato starch, pregelatinised maize starch, talc, mint flavour, lemon flavour. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product
