This combination bed and chair exit system is ideal for caring for the elderly and/or those with dementia or Alzheimer's. It monitors both the wireless, cordfree bed pad and cordfree chair pad. The alarm is not in the room where the patient is located so they will not become upset or confused by the alert noise. The carer on the other hand will hear the alert immediately.

How It Works
Place the bed pad under the bottom sheet in the bed, and place the chair pad in the seat of the chair. When the patient starts to remove their weight from the pad, it sends a wireless signal to the alarm monitor which the carer can keep with the up to 300' (90 meters) from the pads.
By placing the bed pad in the middle back area of the patient, you will receive the alert when they sit up, and before they start to put their legs over the side of the bed, when trying to stand. The alarm emits a repeated tone when the patient removed their weight from either of the pads. To silence the alarm, simply press reset on the front of the alarm. Similarly, the chair pad can be placed on the patients chair and will sound when the they stand up.

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*
(*Note - This excludes large furniture items such a beds and chairs that cannot be shipped via courier – if your order does not qualify for free shipping, or is not within the specified free delivery zones, any additional charges will be communicated to you before the order is confirmed
Shipping Locations
At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation
Shipping Schedule
We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns
Damaged Items
All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.
Returning Unwanted Items
If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.
Return Criteria
All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
