Deluxe Knee Scooter with Wide Wheels for people who cannot support one of their legs. Perfect for outdoors. It is used like a scooter, supporting the injured leg on the padded part and pushing off with the healthy leg. It is ideal for those recovering from surgery, fractures, sprains or foot ulcers. Its use does not require much effort and also reduces the risk of falls.

How to use:
- Place your hands on the handlebars.
- Place the knee of your injured foot on the pad so that the top of your boot or cast is directly over the space between the pads. The lower part of the leg rests on the back of the pad.
- Release the parking brake and push forward or backward with your healthy foot, keeping the knee of the injured foot centered on the pad.
- Move slowly so you can safely stop using your pushing foot.
- The handbrake can be used if necessary in an emergency, but is primarily designed to be used when the rollator is stationary.
How to Brake:
- If you need to brake while pushing the walker, you can do so by stepping down directly by pressing your good foot on the ground. If you need, you can also lightly squeeze the brake lever to slow down.
- Push the brake lever down to activate the brake to stop. You will hear a slight click when the stop brake is activated. Before sitting down, make sure the parking brake is engaged.
- Clean and dry periodically. Remove dirt with a soft, damp cloth and neutral soap. Dry afterwards.
- Do not use harsh or abrasive chemical cleaners, they may damage the product material. Also do not use greasy products that can degrade the materials or make them slippery.
- When not using the product, store it in a dry place at room temperature.

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*

Shipping Locations
At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation
Shipping Schedule
We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns
Damaged Items
All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.
Returning Unwanted Items
If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.
Return Criteria
All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
