Pharmacare Instant Ice Pack

The Pharmacare Instant Ice Pack is convenient and ready to use whenever you need it. This fast-acting cold pack (gets icy cold in 30 seconds) is ideal for treating sports injuries and is a must have in your first aid kit. The Instant Ice Pack is recommended to help relieve pain, reduce swelling, and speed recovery from sprains, strains, contusions, minor burns, toothaches and insect bites. This pack is ideal in situations where ice is not available, or you don’t have time for refrigeration. Because of the intense cold temperature this instant ice pack achieves, users should always use a barrier such as a towel, tape or pre-wrap to protect their skin. This pack is for single use only and should be disposed of after use.

Uses

The Pharmacare Instant Ice Pack helps to alleviate pain and swelling caused by sprains, strains, contusions, minor burns, toothaches and insect bites.

Application

  • Locate the inner pouch
  • Squeeze firmly to rupture the inner fluid pouch
  • Shake briefly to mix the contents
  • Wrap in a soft cloth and apply to the affected area
  • Use alternating application by putting the cold pack on for 15 minutes, then leaving the cold pack off for 15 minutes.
  • Follow standard “R.I.C.E. therapy” – rest, apply ice, compression and elevate
  • Consult a physician if pain persists.

Shipping Cost

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50* 

(*Note - This excludes large furniture items such a beds and chairs that cannot be shipped via courier – if your order does not qualify for free shipping, or is not within the specified free delivery zones, any additional charges will be communicated to you before the order is confirmed

Shipping Locations

At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation

Shipping Schedule

We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Once your order has shipped, it will typically be delivered in 1-3 working days

Delivery Tracking

You can track your order online with https://tracking.dpd.ie/ by entering the tracking number you will have received in your shipping confirmation email.

If you have not received a tracking number or cannot locate it, please contact us and we will provide the tracking details for you.

Returns

Damaged Items

All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.

Returning Unwanted Items

If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.

Return Criteria

All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
