Product Description

The PharmaCare Ice Bag is a soft and comfortable cold compression that helps reduce pain and swelling associated with bruising, muscle or ligament damage, strains and sprains and headaches. The bag has an easy opening cap for filling and secure sealing, soft and flexible material that doesn’t cause pain when pressed against the injured area, and flexible material that easily conforms to the shape of the joint.

The PharmaCare Ice Bag has a hi-tech inner liner that prevents drips or leaks and is easy to use on all body parts due to its economical and flexible design. Placing a cold compress on the injured area is thought to drastically improve recovery time, and this bag is also ideal for the execution of RICE treatment.

Uses:

The PharmaCare Ice Bag is ideal for game day or for home use – it fits easily in your gym bag of first aid kit. It is recommended for strains and sprains, and is ideal for the execution of RICE treatment:

• Rest – Rest the injured area for 48 hours
• Ice – Ice for 20 minutes at a time, 4 to 8 times per day
• Compression – Compress to help reduce swelling
• Elevate – Elevate the injured limb 6 to 10 inches above the heart level

 

Application:

• Fill this durable bag with ice cubes, crushed ice or ice-cold water
• Twist cap securely on bag
• Place on the injured area for immediate relief
• You can place the ice bag on the affected area either immediately after getting injured or during recovery time
• When finished, empty out the contents of the ice bag and leave the top off to air dry

Shipping Cost

A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50* 

(*Note - This excludes large furniture items such a beds and chairs that cannot be shipped via courier – if your order does not qualify for free shipping, or is not within the specified free delivery zones, any additional charges will be communicated to you before the order is confirmed

Shipping Locations

At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation

Shipping Schedule

We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Once your order has shipped, it will typically be delivered in 1-3 working days

Delivery Tracking

You can track your order online with https://tracking.dpd.ie/ by entering the tracking number you will have received in your shipping confirmation email.

If you have not received a tracking number or cannot locate it, please contact us and we will provide the tracking details for you.

Returns

Damaged Items

All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.

Returning Unwanted Items

If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.

Return Criteria

All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
