This Burnshield Prestige Kit is a premium emergency burn kit in a durable EVA Bag with an easy grip handle. The items in this kit are individually labelled with instructions for use and the kit is ideal for minor burns and scalds.
The first 24 hours are the most crucial as a burn progresses and deepens over time. Applying Burnshield products in the first 24 hours can help to minimise damage. Burnshield is applicable to all types of burns during the Emergency phase without restriction to 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns, given the potential significant progression of burns within the first hour.

- 3 x 3.5ml Burnshield Hydrogel Sachet
- 1 x 25ml Burnshield Hydrogel Tube
- 1 x 25mm x 500mm Burnshield Digit Dressing
- 1 x Pair of Gloves
- 2 x 12mm x 5m Plastic Tape
- 1 x First Aid Scissors
- 2 x 50mm Conform Bandage
- 8 x Waterproof Plasters

Application
How to apply Burnshield Hydrogel:
- Remove the lid
- Apply the gel to the burn area
- Ensure to apply the gel beyond the burn area
- Cover with a plaster or a non-adherent bandage
- Re-apply Burnshield Hydrogel when necessary in order to prevent the wound from dehydrating
- Seek medical attention if needed
How to apply a Burnshield Dressing:
- Open the sterile package
- Remove the Foam Dressing from package
- Apply the Foam Dressing over the wound
- Secure the Foam dressing with a non-adherent bandage
- Re-apply Burnshield Hydrogel to the dressing when necessary in order to prevent the wound from dehydrating
- Seek medical attention if needed
How to apply a Burnshield Digit Dressing:
- Open the sterile package
- Remove Foam Dressing from package
- Wrap the Foam Dressing around each individual finger or toe to prevent appendages from binding together
- Secure the Foam dressing with a non-adherent bandage
- Re-apply Burnshield Hydrogel to the dressing to prevent the wound from dehydrating
- Seek medical attention if needed

Shipping Cost
A delivery charge of €5.95 is applied to all orders under €50. We offer free delivery on online orders over €50*
(*Note - This excludes large furniture items such a beds and chairs that cannot be shipped via courier – if your order does not qualify for free shipping, or is not within the specified free delivery zones, any additional charges will be communicated to you before the order is confirmed
Shipping Locations
At present, we ship to anywhere within the Republic of Ireland. We can ship mobility items internationally but this will incur an additional fee. Please contact customerservice@phelans.ie for a quotation
Shipping Schedule
We will ship all goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment from our Webstore based at our Kinsale Road Roundabout, Cork location. If goods are in-stock and don't require a medical consultation, they are usually shipped in 1-2 days. We work exclusively with DPD couriers. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. If any goods are out of stock, we will advise you of an expected availability date. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number when ordering with us.

Returns
Damaged Items
All items are carefully inspected by our team prior to dispatch. If an item becomes damaged in transit, you must notify customerservice@phelans.ie no later than 24 hours after receiving your delivery.
Returning Unwanted Items
If your online order does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us and return your item within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund on the price of the product. Returns made up to a maximum of 30 days post-purchase will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product.
Return Criteria
All items must be returned in "as new" condition, including all original packaging, in order to receive a refund. Please ensure any wheelchairs or rollator is suitable before use, as once the tyres demonstrate signs of use, items cannot be refunded. Where products require assembly, products must be carefully dis-assembled and repackaged before being returned to us.
