It's made for people who need real pressure relief and independent positioning, at home or in a care setting, without the chair looking clinical.

The 4-way stretch faux leather is sealed against liquid, so anything from a knocked cup of tea to an incontinence episode wipes away with a damp cloth rather than soaking in. Nothing reaches the foam underneath, so there's no separate waterproof cover to fit, no cushion to launder, and no lingering stains or odours. It's also Crib 5 fire retardant, soft to sit on, and hard-wearing enough for daily professional use.

At the seat is the Ultra-Lux Comfort system, with a high-risk pressure-relieving memory foam layer over a pocket-sprung base, built in as standard. No extra pressure cushion to buy or reposition. The triple motor gives independent rise and recline plus a powered headrest, so the user sets their own position for comfort or to stand. It comes in Petite and Standard sizes, both rated to 150 kg (24 stone).

Key features

Upholstery: 4-way stretch faux leather, fully waterproof, wipe-clean

Fire rating: Crib 5 fire retardant

Seat: built-in high-risk pressure-relieving memory foam on a pocket-sprung base

Motors: triple motor, independent rise and recline

Headrest: powered, full head and neck support

Sizes: Petite and Standard (see dimensions below)

Weight capacity: 150 kg (24 stone), both sizes

Battery backup: holds position and returns the user upright during a power cut

Handset: ergonomic, illuminated controls

Suitable for: home and professional care settings

Dimensions

Measurement

Petite

Standard

Overall height

105 cm (41″)

110 cm (43″)

Overall width

80 cm (31″)

86 cm (34″)

Overall depth

91 cm (36″)

93 cm (37″)

Seat width

45 cm (18″)

52 cm (20″)

Seat depth

50 cm (19″)

52 cm (20″)

Seat height

44 cm (17″)

48 cm (19″)

Back height

69 cm (27″)

71 cm (28″)

Arm height

58 cm (23″)

62 cm (24″)

Weight capacity

150 kg (24 stone)

150 kg (24 stone)

Common questions

Q: Can it handle incontinence or spills?
A: Yes.
